Madison, IN – Each year on January 9th, law enforcement officers are recognized for their hard work and commitment to public safety. Today, on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Mayor Bob G. Courtney encourages the citizens of Madison to show their support to the officers of the Madison Police Department and all other law enforcement agencies that serve our community.
“Every day we are reminded of the sacrifices that our law enforcement officers and their families make to keep our communities safe. Regardless of the type of emergency, our officers are there for us. On this day, we recognize and thank them for all of their contributions,” said Mayor Courtney.
