  • Chamber of Commerce Announces New Executive Director

The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Emilee Roberts will serve as the
new Executive Director for the organization starting October 12.

“After the search and interview process, it was clear that Emilee’s energy, education, and passion for the
community would be a great asset for the Chamber moving forward. We, as a Board, look forward to
working with Emilee and the many great years of Chamber growth ahead,” said Board President, Daniel
    Butler.

Roberts has a strong background in nonprofit work, organizational leadership development, and
relationship building amongst community organizations, staff, and volunteers. As the Executive Director,
Roberts will work with the Board to continue to foster relationships in the community, collaborate with
partners, and ensure that the Chamber continues to provide vision, support, and resources to
    community businesses.

“I am honored and incredibly excited to be selected as the Executive Director for the Madison Area
Chamber of Commerce and grateful to return to a community that has always felt like a home. From my
original involvement with the Chamber in 2016, serving as an Ambassador and then a brief time on the
Board of Directors - it is truly full circle for me to have the opportunity to serve the organization at the
next level. I look forward to continuing the strong foundation of work laid by the Chamber team and
tackling new challenges to serve the Chamber and Madison community.”

Roberts holds a Master of Leadership Development degree from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and a
B.S. degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Business and a minor in Studio Art from Hanover College.

She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Student and Community Engagement and has worked
within residence life at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology since 2017.
