I am a lifelong resident of Jefferson County.  I am a graduate of Southwestern High School, where I attended K-12th.   At Indiana University Southeast I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a Language Arts Endorsement.  Later, I received a Master of Science in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Endorsement. While I was a graduate student, I was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, an International Honor Society in Education.

My daughter, Elizabeth is a graduate of Marian University.  She is currently working at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. Her goal is to be a zookeeper.  I am so proud of her!

I have resided in Hanover for the past twenty-eight years.  I live with my two furry grandcats, Paige and Gabriel. I enjoy reading and watching movies, especially historical fiction.  My favorite authors are John Jakes and Agatha Christie. I love dark chocolate. And, I can’t survive without McDonald’s unsweet ice tea!

The atmosphere at CCA makes it feel like a family setting.  I love working with small groups in Title 1. Watching the students grow in confidence and ability is so rewarding.  I also love to challenge the students in my enrichment groups. All of my students are amazing!
