2022 Annual Chamber Award Ceremony UPDATES
Madison, IN: The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce announces that due to rising COVID-19 cases, the 98th Annual Dinner sponsored by German American Bank, will be both postponed and transitioned to a virtual event on the evening of Wednesday, February 16. This decision was made by the Chamber’s Board of Directors after considering and evaluating the rise in COVID-19 cases in the county and state.
The Madison Area Chamber’s goal is to provide a safe celebration for the Madison area businesses that have portrayed exemplary work throughout 2021.
With this change comes an extension of the 2022 Award Nominations. The new nomination deadline is Monday, January 24.
2021's Business of the Year went to Greves TV & Appliance Home Store, the Small Business Person of the Year award went to Jerry Wade of Mad Paddle Brewery, the Non-Profit of the Year went to Girls Inc, the Jeff Garrett Community Service Award went to Mary Beth Boone, and the first Annual Jefferson County Emerging Leader Award went to Kelley Hoagland.
According to the Chamber, "(Our) work is made possible by the support of our members, particularly those who devote their time and energy to helping advance key priorities."
The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce honors those who have contributed the most toward facilitating community leadership and economic prosperity. These businesses and individuals help the Chamber accomplish results and position the Madison area for continued success.
The public may nominate individuals and businesses for the following categories:
Business of the Year
Small Business Person of the Year
Non-Profit Organization of the Year
Jeff Garrett Community Service Award
Jefferson County Emerging Leader Award
