    An 8 week Business Bootcamp brought to you by ISBDC and The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce.
    (Additional classes built into the program to help supplement missed courses or extra information)

    5/29 - Week 1: Overview of a business plan, General business description (comparing skills & strengths with business ownership, business entities, developing a mission statement)

    6/12 - Week 2: Products & services (value proposition & customer segments, product/service description, pricing strategies, costs & margins)

    6/26 & 7/10 - Week 3/4: Operations (leasing basics, home-based business basics, labor requirements, labor laws, 1099 vs W2, SOPS Manuals and Handbooks, Insurance and Risk Management)

    Hands on Social Media Workshop
    - Bring your own computer, tablet, or mobile device
    You will receive advice & tutorials for current Social Media Platforms; Learn the basics on Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram; & Learn how to work with the Chamber's Member Information Center along side your social media.

    7/24 & 8/7 - Week 5/6: Marketing (comp researching, understanding industry & demographic data, marketing plan, social marketing plan, marketing budget)

    Quick & Easy Web Presence Tips
    - Bring your own computer, tablet, or mobile device
    You will receive advice and tutorials to ensure your business has an online presence; Learn the basics on your website, Google, and general search engine optimization; & Learn how to work with the Chamber's Member Information Center in order to get the most out of your directory listing.

    8/21 & 9/4 - Week 7/8: Management Plan and Financial Analysis (Management team, professional service providers, creating projections, understanding P&L, Cash Flow Statement, Balance Sheet)
